We are able to undertake both large scale and smaller scale commercial window restoration contracts. We have completed many commercial projects on a variety of prestigious Grade I & II Listed Buildings nationwide and are able to provide a service that will be both respectful of the local environment and sympathetic to the buildings involved. We feel that it is important to have an attention to detail and are able to offer a specialist service which includes a high level of communication with the client, architects and interested parties.
Hawkscroft supply and fit bespoke new and replacement timber windows in hardwood or softwood, steel windows, doors and screens along with a prestigious bronze range of windows [doors and screens]. Our apprenticed carpenters provide a repair option for timber casements where replacement is either not practical or permissible and joinery work can be repaired or replicated to original designs using reclaimed period timber.
If required our in house facility is able to replicate decorative glasswork, leaded lights and stained glass and we are also able to fabricate faithful replacements of both ironwork and window fittings via our artisan blacksmith and metal engineering partners. We also have in a large selection of reclaimed period window fittings in stock including brass and bronze handles, backplates and casement stays.
Our commercial team of fitters are all highly experienced and our site practice conforms to current HSE legislation and all required certification and insurances are in place for both minor works and larger contracts.
