The finely detailed installation to this prominent and listed 19th century stone building in Broadway required extensive planning and liaison with the client’s architects and Local Authority Conservation Architects.
Existing single glazed steel casements from the 1970s era were carefully removed and new epoxy powder coated steel casements finished in 'Traffic Grey' were fitted with slim-line 'Heritage' double glazing and antique brass fittings.
The installation required hydraulic lime/sand pointing repairs to the original stone apertures once the new windows were installed and the completed renovation achieved an overall appearance that was sympathetic to the original building yet contemporary in style.
